COL 150 - Map of my neighborhood

This is a drawing of my neighborhood. I have been living in this neighborhood for 12 years now. It's very noisy, and a lot of my memories come from here. When I was younger I would hang out with kids from my neighborhood, whether it was playing outside with them or going to the park. Getting to school was an easy commute because they were all right up the street from my house. During winter, my friends and I would have to walk through a pile of snow since the sidewalks were usually covered with snow. Lots of people know my neighborhood for its main road. I would say broad street is pretty active especially during the summer time. A lot of people go there for the food spots. Broad street is definitely known for having great food! There's a lot of Spanish owned businesses which means you'll encounter a lot of them there. A new popular restaurant that opened up very recently is El Ninja which I'm sure many people heard of since it's known for incorporating Dominican/Asian food.  The owner of the restaurant is actually a famous Tiktoker. One of the things that I enjoy about my neighborhood is the Dominican parade. Every year everyone looks forward to that day because it happens on the broad street. The roads are blocked, and every Dominican from the city gathers to celebrate our day of independence! If you're looking to try some good food and have a great time, definitely save the date!
